Job description

Job Title: Part-Time Receptionist

Location: Belfast

Working Hours:

  • 1.00pm to 5.30pm, Monday to Thursday
  • 1.00pm to 4.30pm Friday

 

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for clients and is the front line for LSH.

 

Duties include:-

  • Greeting guests and visitors to the office and effectively dealing with their concerns by exhibiting a professional, mature, courteous, gracious and efficient manner.
  • Answering switchboard, determining nature of business and directing callers to the appropriate department.
  • Confidently dealing with enquiries from clients and general public, message taking and passing to relevant surveyor/department.
  • Booking meeting rooms
  • Sorting and distributing post
  • Making refreshments for client meetings
  • Keeping a record and booking out pool car
  • Covering holiday leave for other part-time receptionist.
  • Keeping reception tidy
  • General admin duties including booking flights, hotel accommodation, car hire and inputting /updating data onto various systems.

 

Key Skills/Competencies: 

 

Technical Skills

  • Thorough working knowledge of IT systems, particularly of Microsoft office packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Adobe Acrobat

 

Personal Qualities

  • Presents a professional image when dealing with clients

 

Interpersonal Skills

  • Demonstrates co-operation and willingness to work with others
  • Demonstrates good, confident social behavioural skills
  • Able to work within a team environment, as well as on their own initiative
