About the Role:

 

We are excited to be looking to hire a Commercial Agency Surveyor. As part of their expanding team, you will play a key role in acquiring properties for occupiers and leasing them on behalf of landlords and tenants across South East office markets.

 

Your role will be client-facing and you will be responsible for delivering tailored real estate strategies, executing key transactions, and engaging in negotiations with other real estate professionals.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Client Interaction: Attend and conduct pitch presentations to new and existing clients on the services provided.
  • Real Estate Strategy: Assist and lead in the development and execution of real estate strategies that align with clients' business plans and objectives.
  • Collaborative Work: Coordinate with other departments within the business such as Building Consultancy and Capital Markets to effectively cross sell.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Produce tenders, heads of terms, terms of engagement, market reports, enquiry schedules and cash flow projections.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with Capital Markets team to find reciprocal opportunities by providing accurate market advice and commentaries.
  • Leasing & Disposals: Work on leasehold disposals and acquisitions, developing bespoke disposal and marketing strategies.
  • Refurbishments: Coordinate with designers and architects for property refurbishments.
  • Market Engagement: Host market events and campaigns to enhance company or asset visibility and market position.
  • Training & Development: Provide training to Graduate Surveyors and support qualified surveyors in their development.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with the wider agency team to identify and pursue new opportunities.

 

Key Requirements: 

  • Qualification: MRICS qualification is preferred, though not essential.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in transactional role.
  • Skills: Strong marketing, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems.
  • Organizational Ability: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and numeracy skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Driving License: A valid driving license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
